Within Colorado
Deliveries along the Front Range of Colorado (Fort Collins to Pueblo) are generally made with our own trucks. The minimum order for free delivery is $150. A delivery charge of $25 will be applied to orders from $100 to $150.
No deliveries for less than $100.
Outside the Front Range area, deliveries in Colorado may be shipped via commercial motor freight. The freight will be pre-paid and added to the customer's invoice. Denver Pottery Company will not accept breakage claims on commercial motor freight shipments. Please inspect all shipments at the time of arrival. The customer must file a freight claim with the carrier for any breakage. A shipment made by our own trucks will be charged a 10% delivery fee to be added to the invoice. All breakage claims must be noted at the time of delivery.
Outside of Colorado
We ship solely via common carrier, i.e. commercial motor freight. There is no minimum but the rates are prohibitive on smaller orders. The freight will be pre-paid and added to the customer's invoice. Denver Pottery Company cannot accept breakage claims on commercial motor freight shipments. Please inspect all shipments at the time of arrival. The customer must file a freight claim with the carrier for any breakage.
UPS Shipments
UPS/DHL will not pay breakage claims on pottery; therefore, we only ship plastic products, baskets and other nonbreakable items via this carrier. If you desire that we ship pottery by UPS or DHL, the responsibility for breakage loss is yours. A minimum packaging charge of $10 will be added to your order.
COD Shipments
Motor freight and UPS orders may be shipped COD with applicable COD charges. To avoid COD charges, customers may prepay the invoice, including freight charges.
Return Policy
Please select items with care! We do not accept returns on pottery. Under specific conditions, a return may be
accepted with a 25% restocking fee, upon arrival.
Denver Pottery will not accept returns for any item that is a special order and not regularly stocked in our warehouse. This exclusion applies particularly to Riverside Plastics items. Please be careful to discuss and get in writing these conditions with your customers when placing special orders.
Reminder
To prevent moisture damage planters should always be raised above floor surfaces or tabletops with trivets or footed saucers. Watertight saucers and airflow are your best defense!
Please advise your customers to avoid subjecting pottery to freezing temperatures!
We accept checks and cash. Sorry, no credit cards.
